If you've got some down-time this holiday season and want to read some incredible books on life and business -- meaning books that give you insights into how to grow a company with people instead of on the backs of people -- here's my must-read list:
- Johnathan Livingston Seagull, by Richard Bach and Russell Munson, will teach you to turn your inner eagle loose. (This is hands-down my favorite book of all time.)
- The Go-Giver, by Bob Burg and John David Mann, will teach you the secrets to achieving stratospheric success by giving freely of yourself.
- The Dream Manager, by Matthew Kelley and Patrick Lencioni, will teach you how to achieve your dreams by helping your employees achieve theirs.
- The Great Game of Business, by Jack Stack, will teach you how to view business as a game and to view each member of your team as a critical player of that game.
- Secret Formulas of the Wizard of Ads, by Roy Williams, will provide more insights into ad copy and life in general than you'll ever be able to use.
- Money Talks, How To Make A Million As A Professional Speaker, by Alan Weiss, is the "speaker's bible" for anyone who wants to get paid to talk to groups.
Enjoy!
